Campaign Control is an internal tool for BlueStar's marketing team. It consolidates paid advertising reporting and campaign scheduling across LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads and Reddit. This policy describes what the tool accesses, what it does not, and how that information is used.
Campaign Control is not a public or consumer product. It is used only by authorized BlueStar staff, signing in with a BlueStar account. There are no end-user accounts and no public sign-ups.
With the authorization of a BlueStar administrator, the tool reads advertising data from advertising accounts that BlueStar owns and has explicitly connected. Nothing is read from accounts BlueStar does not own or has not authorized.
The tool also stores the authorization credentials issued by each platform, along with the campaign schedules and report settings BlueStar staff configure inside the tool.
The tool does not access personal information about individuals, does not access customer or end-user data, and does not access data belonging to any third party. It requests no contact lists, no audience member records, no messaging or inbox content, and no personal profile data beyond the name and email address of the BlueStar staff member who authorizes a connection, which is shown only so the team can see who connected the account.
Advertising data is used for two purposes only: it is displayed to authenticated BlueStar staff inside this tool, and it is included in internal email reports sent to BlueStar recipients configured by the team. Campaign status is written back to a platform only to apply an activation schedule that BlueStar staff configured.
Data is not sold, shared, or transferred to any third party. It is not used for advertising, for profiling, or to train machine-learning models.
Advertising metrics and configuration are stored in a private, access-controlled database. Platform authorization tokens are held in server-side storage, encrypted where the platform issues long-lived refresh credentials, and are never sent to the browser or exposed in the interface. All platform requests are made from the server.
Access is limited to authorized BlueStar staff, with permissions applied per role. Any connection can be revoked at any time — from the Connections page in this tool, or directly in the advertising platform's own security settings. Revoking a connection immediately stops all data retrieval and all scheduled campaign changes for that platform. On request, stored data for a platform can be deleted.
Campaign Control's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The tool requests only the Google Ads scope needed to read reporting and manage campaign status for BlueStar's own Google Ads accounts.
Questions about this tool or its data handling should go to BlueStar's marketing operations team. BlueStar's corporate privacy policy is available at bluestarinc.com.
